WORKSHOP 1

"Mental Health Connect - Essential mental health training for GLBT people"

This workshop is run in partnership with the Mental  Health Coordinating Council and is an excellent one day workshop that gives insight and understanding in to the lived experience of mental illness. It is recovery focussed and provides a great introduction to gainnig knowledge to help support someone who is experiencing mental distress.

"Rainbow Blues: Understanding Depression and Anxiety in LGBTI people"

WORKSHOP 3

Workshops for Service Providers

These workshops are aimed at increasing understanding of GLBTI mental health issues from a service provider perspective and includes information on making your service more GLBTI inclusive. This is a good introudction to undertaking GLBTI sensitivity training for mainstream services.

Run in partnership with Gay and Lesbian Health Victoria the workshops aim to increase understanding of the issues that affect the mental health of the GLBTI communities and offer practical tools to make services more inclusive of community members. These workshops are 4 1/2 hours in duration and will be run during office hours.

They can be customised to suit your organisation and our trainers can come to your place of work if numbers permit.
